My name is Debbie Sumner. I am a trained pediatrician who has had my own chronic pain journey. Owing to the success of this work, I am passionate about helping others as a Pain Reprocessing Therapy Consultant and a Reiki master. I am based in Atlanta but see clients virtually..

Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) is pioneered by medical doctors. It is evidenced-based treatment for chronic pain and many chronic conditions, without medicine or surgery, using a mind-body medicine model that recognizes that chronic pain is real. PRT uses experiential techniques, such as somatic tracking, that aim to retrain the brain to accurately interpret and respond to pain signals, thereby reducing or breaking the cycle of chronic pain.

People who are more likely to benefit from this work are those who tend to be anxious, perfectionistic and/or people-please.
